The History

Waunita Hotel, early 1900's Once a summer gathering place for Ute Indians, Waunita was a noted health spa in the early 1900's. It later served as a boy's baseball camp. The Pringle family moved from Houston, Texas in 1962 to buy the ranch and convert it into one of Colorado's finest guest ranches. You'll enjoy learning about its interesting history.

About Your Hosts

The Pringles came to Waunita in 1962, and three generations live at the ranch. Our family extends a hearty welcolme to you and your family.
