Once a summer gathering place for Ute Indians, Waunita was a noted health spa in the early 1900's. It later served as a boy's baseball camp. The Pringle family moved from Houston, Texas in 1962 to buy the ranch and convert it into one of Colorado's finest guest ranches. You'll enjoy learning about its interesting history.
The Pringles came to Waunita in 1962, and three generations live at the ranch. Our family extends a hearty welcolme to you and your family.
Waunita Hot Springs Ranch is located eight miles north of U. S. Highway 50 between Monarch Pass and Gunnison. The turn-off is marked by a state highway sign one-half mile west of Doyleville at the 176-mile marker (Gunnison County Road 887). Gunnison is served by several major airlines, and airport pickup is available at no extra charge.
