Meals are served family and buffet style... all you can eat, with snacks of cookies, fruit, coffee and punch in between. Cookouts include breakfast, lunch and dinner at different locations on forest land. The yard bar-b-q area is used a couple of times each week. Our experienced and talented kitchen staff provides you with wholesome, delectable meals, featuring homemade breads and desserts. Our no-alcohol policy complements the family atmosphere. All meals are included in your low all-inclusive price.

Horseback riding is available every summer day except Sunday (arrival day), and you have your own horse for the week. Rides are grouped by age and ability, or families may ride together. Instructions in the arena and on the many trails are designed to give you a truly enjoyable riding experience. Featured each week are three cookout rides and a morning of arena games. One of the high points of the week is the high-country ride to the snow-ridged peaks of Stella and Granite Mountains overlooking the Continental Divide.

Children are included in most activities at the ranch, so your family can enjoy doing things together. However, rides and some activities are planned 'specially for kids. Waunita is a natural playground -- and there are no poisonous snakes! When it's time to head for home, you just may have to pull them off the front-porch rail!
